Landore is an inner‑city ward just north‑east of Swansea city centre in Wales, sitting on the eastern bank of the River Tawe. It combines Victorian terraces and pockets of post‑industrial land, and benefits from good road and rail links into the city and the nearby M4 corridor.
The ward has a strong industrial past in metalworking and engineering, with many former works giving way to modern housing, business units and retail areas as part of long‑running regeneration. It retains a largely working‑class, community‑focused character with active local projects and sports clubs, making it an area of contrasts between gritty industrial heritage and ongoing urban renewal.
