Shudy Camps is a small rural village and civil parish in South Cambridgeshire, Cambridgeshire, England, set in gently rolling arable countryside on the south‑eastern edge of the county. It lies close to the county boundary with Suffolk and within easy reach of the market towns of Linton and Haverhill, and of Cambridge to the north-west.
Historically the area is known as the two settlements of Great Shudy Camps and Little Shudy Camps, and you still see a compact village core of old cottages and farmland that hints at a medieval past. Today the local economy remains largely agricultural with a number of residents commuting to nearby towns and the city; community life is typical of small English villages, centred on local events, the parish church and efforts to conserve hedgerows, lanes and historic buildings.
