Headley is a compact village and civil parish in the district of East Hampshire, in the county of Hampshire, England. Set on low heathland and fringed by pinewoods and commons, the parish includes the neighbouring settlement of Headley Down and sits within the rural patchwork of the western Weald, offering plenty of countryside walking and wildlife interest.
Historically rooted in agriculture with a scattering of timber‑framed and Victorian houses, the village has seen 20th‑century growth that made it popular with commuters to nearby towns such as Alton and Farnham. Community life remains lively around the church, village hall, pub and sports clubs, and local history and landscape - commons, tracks and old estate features - give the place a distinctly rural Hampshire character.
