Churt is a small, largely residential village in the borough of Waverley, Surrey, England, set among heathland and pine woodlands on the fringes of the Surrey Hills. Its commons and nearby Frensham Ponds make it popular with walkers and birdwatchers, and the landscape is dotted with sandy tracks and low sandstone outcrops that give the area a distinctive, open feel.
The village has a close-knit community with a village hall, local pub and small shops, while many residents commute to nearby towns such as Farnham and Haslemere or further afield. A notable local landmark is the row of Bronze Age barrows known as the Devil's Jumps, which give the common archaeological interest as well as good views over the surrounding heath.
