Durleigh is a small, mainly rural parish just to the west of Bridgwater in Somerset, England. The settlement is best known for Durleigh Reservoir, an attractive local amenity popular for angling, walking and birdwatching, while the surrounding landscape remains dominated by farmland and hedgerows.
Historically agricultural, Durleigh now combines a quiet village character with a number of commuters who work in nearby towns; community life often centres on outdoor recreation and local conservation of wetland habitats along the River Parrett, with easy access to the facilities and transport links of Bridgwater.
