Enmore is a small rural village and civil parish in Somerset, England, lying a few miles west of Bridgwater on the fringes of the Quantock Hills and within the Sedgemoor district. Its setting of rolling farmland and parkland gives it a quietly picturesque character, popular with walkers and those seeking a rural base close to the west Somerset coast and local market towns.
The village is best known for the castellated country house and folly of Enmore Castle, which and the surrounding historic estates have shaped both the landscape and local identity. Agriculture remains important to the local economy, while the surviving manor houses, listed buildings and a small, active community contribute to a strong sense of history and village life, with occasional events and private-venue uses bringing in visitors.
