Hatch Beauchamp is a small village in Somerset, England, set on a prominent ridge that affords pleasant views over the surrounding countryside. It is notable for its handsome parish church of St John the Baptist with a tall medieval tower and the elegant country house Hatch Court, both of which reflect the village's long history and contribute to its attractive, well-preserved character.
Historically the settlement grew around its manor - the Beauchamp name survives from the medieval lords - and agriculture has long shaped local life. Today many residents commute to nearby Taunton, but the village retains a close-knit community feel with village events, a village hall and appeal to visitors interested in rural walks, history and the quieter side of Somerset.
