Ash Green is a suburban neighbourhood on the outskirts of Guildford in Surrey, England. Predominantly residential, it features a mix of post‑war and more recent housing, local shops, a primary school and community facilities, and is popular with commuters thanks to good road and rail links via the A3 and nearby stations into London.
Residents value the easy access to surrounding countryside - including the rolling landscapes of the Surrey Hills - as well as a modest local economy centred on services, pubs and sports clubs. Historically the area grew out of rural Surrey into a commuter suburb during the 20th century, and it retains a quiet community feel with local events and active neighbourhood groups.
