Normandy is a village and civil parish in the borough of Guildford, in the county of Surrey, England. It has a semi-rural feel, set among heathland, woodland and commons on the edge of the Surrey Hills, and benefits from reasonably fast road and rail links into Guildford and London, so many residents commute while enjoying a more countryside lifestyle.
Historically agricultural, the village now combines a mixture of older cottages and 20th‑century housing with small local shops, pubs, a village hall and active clubs such as cricket and community groups. Conservation of green spaces and an engaged neighbourhood make it popular with walkers and families, and local events and volunteer initiatives give Normandy a strong community character despite its commuter links.
