The villages of Kingskettle and Kettlebridge sit in central Fife, a few miles north of Cupar and within easy commuting distance of Dundee and St Andrews. They occupy the fertile, rolling landscape of the Howe of Fife, with a mix of traditional stone cottages, farmsteads and some newer housing estates clustered along quiet country lanes.
Historically part of the parish of Kettle, the settlements grew up around agriculture and small rural industries such as milling, and agriculture still shapes the local economy today while many residents commute to nearby towns. The area retains a strong village community feel - village halls, local events and a handful of shops and pubs - and nearby lanes and footpaths make it pleasant for walking, cycling and enjoying the Fife countryside.
