Pensarn is a small coastal village on the North Wales coast within the county borough of Conwy, immediately east of Abergele. It sits beside sandy beaches and dune systems and benefits from good road and rail links on the A55 corridor and the North Wales Coast Line, which makes it handy for both holidaymakers and commuters.
Historically it grew with Victorian seaside tourism and the arrival of the railway, and today the local economy leans on tourism, holiday accommodation and local services alongside a residential community. The place keeps a relaxed seaside character with local pubs and community facilities and easy access to wider attractions across Wales.
