Llysfaen is a small electoral ward and village on the southern edge of Colwyn Bay within Conwy county, north Wales. It sits on rising ground above the coast, giving many properties pleasant views over the Irish Sea, and combines residential streets with patches of farmland and greenbelt that mark the transition from town to countryside.
Historically the locality had a connection with quarrying and other small industries that served the north Wales coast, but today it functions largely as a local community and commuter area with village amenities, an active parish life and community groups. Its proximity to coastal leisure facilities and main transport routes means residents benefit from rural character while being close to larger towns.
