Yscir with Honddu Isaf and Llanddew is a largely rural ward in Powys, Wales, characterised by rolling hills, upland pasture and the wooded valley of the Honddu. It sits close to the market town of Brecon and the fringes of the Brecon Beacons, so it attracts walkers and riders as well as supporting traditional sheep and cattle farming.
The scattered villages and hamlets include the historic village of Llanddew, with an ancient church and links to medieval ecclesiastical history, giving the area a quiet heritage interest. Local life centres on agriculture, small local businesses and community activities, while proximity to Brecon brings additional services and some tourism‑related trade.
