Newton St. Cyres is a small, picturesque village in Mid Devon, Devon, England, set among rolling farmland and the gentle contours of the Culm Valley. The village retains a traditional feel with stone cottages and a medieval parish church dedicated to St Cyres, and its character was shaped in part by the arrival of the railway in the 19th century.
Today it is largely agricultural in character but also functions as a quiet commuter community with a railway station on the line linking Exeter and Barnstaple, giving residents easy access to the city while village life revolves around the church, village hall and local events that sustain a close-knit social atmosphere.
