Grayshott is a village and civil parish in the district of East Hampshire, in the county of Hampshire, England, sitting on the border with Surrey close to Haslemere and Hindhead. It occupies heathland and pinewood country on the edge of the Surrey Hills, with plenty of walking terrain and nearby open spaces such as the Devil's Punch Bowl.
The settlement expanded in the Victorian and Edwardian eras as a healthy retreat and still shows that heritage in its period houses, independent shops and pubs. Local life centres on community clubs, village events and small businesses; the area also has a proud craft tradition, including well‑regarded pottery, alongside many residents who commute to nearby towns for work.
