Lindford is a small village and civil parish in East Hampshire, Hampshire, in southern England, lying just south of the town of Bordon and close to the Surrey border. It sits beside the A325 on the edge of mixed heathland and pine woods such as Alice Holt Forest and Woolmer Forest, which makes it popular with walkers, riders and those seeking a countryside feel within easy reach of larger towns.
Historically the locality has been influenced by nearby military garrisons and by local forestry and agriculture; more recently the regeneration around Whitehill & Bordon has brought housing and business change. Today the village retains a strong community spirit, with small shops, a village hall and local clubs serving a largely commuter and local workforce while the surrounding landscape remains an important recreational and ecological asset.
