Boosbeck is a small village in the borough of Redcar and Cleveland, in the ceremonial county of North Yorkshire in north‑east England, historically part of the North Riding of Yorkshire. It sits on the rural fringe of the North York Moors and Cleveland Hills, not far from market towns such as Guisborough and the coastal resort of Saltburn-by-the-Sea, giving easy access to both moorland walking and the coast.
The village grew with the 19th‑century ironstone boom and still bears traces of that industrial past in its landscape and street pattern, but today it is largely agricultural and residential with many people commuting into Teesside for work. Community life is typical of small North‑East villages, centred on local groups, a village hall and a pub, and it attracts visitors who enjoy quiet countryside, historic mining heritage and nearby coastal scenery.
