Winnersh is a suburban village in the borough of Wokingham, Berkshire, lying between the town of Wokingham and Reading. It occupies gently undulating ground with pockets of woodland and riverside greenery by the River Loddon, and grew from a small agricultural settlement into a commuter-friendly suburb after the arrival of the railway.
Today Winnersh combines residential neighbourhoods and village amenities with a significant employment base around Winnersh Triangle, a business park that hosts light industry, offices and logistics firms. Good transport connections - including local stations and quick access to the M4 and A329(M) - make it popular with commuters, while local sports clubs, community groups and weekend events maintain a strong village feel.
