Woodley is a suburban town in the borough of Wokingham, in England, sitting just east of Reading. It has a largely residential character with a mix of post‑war and newer housing, a modest town centre of shops and community facilities, active local sports clubs and schools, and plenty of parks and open space for families.
The town grew substantially in the 20th century and has a notable aviation heritage thanks to an early aerodrome and light industry that helped shape its identity. Woodley also benefits from green corridors such as the nearby River Loddon and convenient road and rail links for commuters travelling into Reading and beyond.
