Port Eynon is a small coastal parish and village on the western tip of the Gower Peninsula in Swansea, Wales. It has a long sandy beach backed by dunes and salt marshes and is overlooked by Port Eynon Point, making it a popular spot for walkers, swimmers and birdwatchers within the Gower Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Historically a modest fishing community with tales of smuggling and wartime relics along the shore, Port Eynon today relies largely on tourism and local services; seasonal visitors, the coastal path and a compact village scene of pubs, cafés and community events help sustain the local economy and social life.
