Winnersh is a suburb and civil parish in the borough of Wokingham, Berkshire, lying between Wokingham town and Reading. It is well connected by rail - served by both Winnersh and Winnersh Triangle stations - and by road via the A329(M), giving easy access to the wider Thames Valley and the M4. The parish mixes suburban housing, riverside green space along the River Loddon and the much-noted Winnersh Triangle business park, which houses offices, light industry and distribution facilities and helps make the area an important local employment hub.
Historically a rural and gravel-extraction area, Winnersh grew after the arrival of the railway in the 19th century and today retains a village feel with community halls, schools and local pubs alongside modern development. Its riverside paths, pockets of woodland and community groups give a pleasant balance between commuter convenience, light industry and local social life.
