Airth is a small village in the council area of Falkirk in Scotland, set on the southern bank of the estuary of the River Forth. Its compact core and riverside setting give pleasant views across the water and make it a popular spot for local walks, while road links mean larger centres such as Grangemouth are easily reached.
With medieval origins the village is dominated by the presence of Airth Castle, a historic tower house with later additions, and its history includes a long-standing ferry crossing and agricultural roots. Today it remains a small, community-focused place with a church, a village pub and occasional local events, its character shaped both by heritage and by the industrial developments nearby.
