The twin seaside towns of Elie and Earlsferry in Fife, Scotland, sit on the south‑east coast overlooking the Firth of Forth as part of the historic East Neuk. They combine sandy beaches and rocky headlands such as Elie Ness, a sheltered harbour and yacht club, and are a popular stretch of the Fife Coastal Path for walkers and sailors alike.
Earlsferry has medieval roots as a royal burgh and ferry point, and both villages retain narrow streets, Georgian and Victorian houses and a long links‑golfing tradition; today their economy is driven largely by tourism, leisure boating, golf and some remaining fishing, with a mixed community of locals, commuters and holiday homeowners who swell numbers in the summer months.
