Llannon is a small village and community in Carmarthenshire, Wales, set in rolling agricultural countryside and within easy reach of the larger towns of Llanelli and Carmarthen. Its setting of hedged lanes, pastures and pockets of woodland gives it a distinctly rural feel while still being accessible to regional road links.
Historically the area has been shaped by farming with later connections to the wider industrial activity of south-west Wales; today Llannon retains a strong local identity with Welsh-language traditions, village chapels and a community hall, and a modest local economy made up of agriculture, small businesses and commuters who work in nearby towns. The village is popular with walkers and anyone looking for a quieter base close to both countryside and services.
