Three Crosses is a small village on the northern edge of the Gower peninsula within the City and County of Swansea, Wales. Said to take its name from three stone crosses that once marked a local junction, it sits amid farmed countryside and lanes with good views towards the Loughor Estuary and across to Swansea Bay, making it popular with walkers and those wanting coastal countryside close to the city.
As part of Gower, the UK's first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the village combines a quiet rural character with basic local amenities such as a village hall, a pub and a primary school; economically many residents commute into Swansea while others work in farming or the local tourism economy, and the community retains a strong parish-style social life and connections to wider Gower walking routes and coastal history.
