Whitecross is a small village in the Falkirk council area of central Scotland, historically part of Stirlingshire. It sits close to Denny and within easy reach of the town of Falkirk, with a mix of housing and surrounding farmland that gives the place a semi‑rural character.
Like many communities in the area, Whitecross has roots in the industrial era and was historically linked to local coal and ironworking; today it is largely residential with a village hall, local amenities and an active community spirit, while many residents commute to nearby centres such as Falkirk and Glasgow. Its location close to the Antonine Wall, canal routes and regional attractions such as the Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpies means countryside walks and historic interest are close at hand.
