The borough of Walsall sits in the heart of the West Midlands and is traditionally counted as part of the Black Country. It contains a number of distinct towns and neighbourhoods including Willenhall, Darlaston, Brownhills and Aldridge, and is threaded by canals and the River Tame, giving a varied mix of urban centres, suburban streets and green corridors.
